Policy Guidelines
Effective April 21, 2026
To promote a safe, family-friendly environment for all guests, the following alcohol policy is now in effect at Ginnie Springs:
Permitted Use (Private)
- Alcohol consumption is allowed only within campsites, including:
- Reserved Water & Electric Campsites
- Primitive Sites (first come, first served; available to both overnight campers and day guests)
- Alcohol may be opened and consumed only within the boundaries of your campsite.
- Open alcohol must remain within your campsite at all times and may not be carried beyond it.
Open Container Rule
- Open containers of alcohol are prohibited outside of campsite areas.
- An open container includes any bottle, can, cup, or other receptacle that has been opened, has a broken seal, or contains alcohol.
Glass Policy
- No glass bottles of any kind are permitted anywhere on the property.
Prohibited Areas (Public)
- No open containers of alcohol are allowed in any common areas, including but not limited to:
- Springs, decks, and swimming areas
- Bathhouses
- Picnic areas surrounding the springs, playground, and pavilions (excluding pre-approved group reservations for pavilions)
- Roadways, trails, and parking areas
- Any shared or public spaces throughout the property
Public Behavior
- Public intoxication is prohibited
- Guests must remain respectful of others
Enforcement
- Violations of this policy may result in:
- Immediate disposal of alcohol
- Violators will be considered trespassers and may be removed from property without refund
Additional Notes
- Day admission guests may utilize unoccupied primitive campsites for day use; however, opened alcohol is restricted to campsite areas only and must follow all rules outlined above.
- Quiet hours are 12:00 AM until. 8:00 AM – no excessive noise at any time.
- All local and state laws regarding alcohol consumption apply.
