Ginnie Springs Rules & Policies

Ginnie Springs is private property. Failure to abide by these rules may, at the discretion of Ginnie Springs personnel, result in expulsion without refund. Persons failing to pay entrance or camping fees, who re-enter the property after expulsion, or who refuse to leave when asked, will be considered trespassers and subject to arrest.

Ginnie Springs is a golf cart-only park (no UTVs or side-by-sides allowed).

Park Policies

Park Policies

Guests are required to follow ALL Florida State Laws.
All campers must be 18 years or older to camp without being accompanied by their parent or legal guardian.
Proof of legal guardianship required. Government-issued ID required.
Children 15 and under are required to have adult supervision at all times.
No pets allowed.
No DJ equipment or performers permitted.
No commercial filming or vendors without prior written permission.
Divers must register prior to diving.
Swim at your own risk. No lifeguards on duty.
No camping in common areas surrounding springs.
No glass in common areas or river.
No running extension cords from power sources (pavilions, bathhouses, etc.) to primitive campsites. Water and electric campsite reservations are available on our website.
No fishing in the springs or spring runs.
No diving or jumping from decks, banks, or trees.
"Quiet Hours" are 12:00 AM until 8:00 AM—no excessive noise at any time.
No foul or abusive language, excessive noise, fighting, or any other behavior that park staff may consider to be offensive or inappropriate (this includes signage and sexually explicit items).
Underage alcohol consumption is prohibited.
No excessive alcohol consumption.
No beer bongs or beer funnels. Beer kegs are not permitted without prior written approval.
Campsites must be kept clean and orderly at all times. Trash bags are available upon request.
Do not cut, burn, or nail anything to trees or vegetation.
Do not hang lanterns directly on trees or vegetation.
Drivers must be at least 16 years old and have a valid driver's license to operate motorized vehicles.
You may be asked to park your vehicle at any time.
Registered motorcycles are allowed in the park as long as they have current insurance, display a current tag, and full lighting (proof of insurance may be requested).
Class 1 & 2 pedal E-Bikes are allowed.
No riding on the exterior of vehicles.
The 10 MPH speed limit must be observed throughout the property.

The following items are never permitted:

  • Pets
  • Jet skis
  • Rope swings
  • Chain saws
  • Drones
  • Metal detectors
  • Air horns
  • Generators deemed excessively loud by park staff
  • Personal compressors, surface supplied, or “umbilical” diving equipment
  • Dirt bikes, 4-wheelers, scooters, and go-karts
  • ATVs, UTVs, and side-by-sides
  • Fire spinning
  • Fireworks
  • Firearms
  • BB and paintball guns
  • Bows and arrows
  • Water balloons
  • DJ equipment

Consumption of alcohol may impair your judgment and reduce your ability to effectively manage the risks of swimming, camping, and other water and land activities.
