RV Usage and Placement Policy for Ginnie Springs Outdoors – effective May 15, 2025

The purpose of this policy is to regulate the use of Recreational Vehicles (RVs) at Ginnie Springs to preserve the natural beauty of our park, ensure responsible usage of park facilities, and maintain a positive experience for all visitors.

This policy applies to all RVs, their owners, operators, and users within the park and it governs RV parking, placement, and usage. An RV, or Recreational Vehicle, is a motorized or towable vehicle designed for travel, recreation, and camping, combining transportation and temporary living quarters and often, but not necessarily, includes toilet, shower or sink equipment.

Policy Guidelines

1. RV Parking and Placement

Designated RV Areas:
RVs are permitted only in designated Electric and Water (E/W) sites and approved “Outback” camping areas within the park. Unless otherwise approved by management, RVs are prohibited from entering, parking, or using primitive camping areas (excluding approved “Outback” sites) or any other areas not specifically designated for RVs.

Site Assignments:
RVs must be parked in the assigned Electric and Water sites, in approved “Outback” sites, or in designated parking lots only. Site assignments will be provided upon check-in and are subject to availability.

Parking Restrictions:

  • RVs must be parked within the boundaries of the designated site and must not block any roadways, pathways, or other park infrastructure.
  • Parking or placement of RVs outside the designated areas (e.g., in common areas or in non-approved primitive camping spaces) is prohibited.
  • All RVs must be parked in a way that maintains a safe distance from neighboring RVs and other park structures.
  • Unless otherwise approved by management, a maximum of 1 RV is allowed per Electric and Water site. (8-person limit)
  • No driving or parking is allowed outside designated roadways, parking lots and approved RV sites.
  • RV owners must adhere to all signage and physical barriers indicating restricted areas.

2. RV Usage Restrictions

Noise Control:

  • Noise levels must be kept at a minimum, especially during quiet hours (from midnight to 8AM). Noise control restrictions apply to the use of generators, speakers, and any other noise-producing equipment.

Waste Disposal:

  • All RVs must be equipped with properly functioning waste disposal systems (sewage, greywater, etc.) that adhere to park standards.
  • RV owners, operators, and users must dispose of waste at designated waste disposal stations within the park. Dumping waste (including greywater, sewage, and trash) in unauthorized areas is strictly prohibited

Water and Electricity Usage:

  • RV owners, operators, and users must use water and electricity responsibly.
  • RVs are not permitted to tap into any park water or electrical sources outside of the designated E/W sites.

Park Rules:

  • RV owners, operators, and users are required to follow all park rules. Park rules are found on our website or attached to the guest pass.

Pets:

  • Ginnie Springs has a strict “no pets” policy.

Penalties for Non-Compliance

Failure to adhere to any part of this policy may result in the following penalties:

A verbal warning will be issued, and the RV owner, operator, or user will be reminded of the rules and their responsibility to comply. The RV owner, operator, or user may be asked to move their RV to a different location within the park if the issue involves placement or misuse of park facilities.

Or, depending on the severity of the violation,

The RV, its owner, operator, and user will be required to vacate the park immediately and may also be subject to trespassing charges and a permanent ban from the property if deemed necessary. Note: Continuous violations (e.g., illegal waste disposal, damaging park property) will result in immediate removal from the park and possible legal action.
